Red Dragon, White Dragon

Nick Bicât’s ‘Red Dragon, White Dragon’ at Cumberland Lodge, Sunday 5 July, 6pm
The Preview performance of Red Dragon, White Dragon on March 29th was a resounding success. The full Premiere will take place in the lovely grounds of Cumberland Lodge in the heart of Windsor Great Park on Sunday July 5th at 6pm.
Our performance will be from 6.00 – 8.00pm. This will be preceded by a barbecue lunch and tea, available from 12:30 onwards, by courtesy of Cumberland Lodge – a great day out for families and friends!
Red Dragon, White Dragon treats the Legend of King Arthur in a strikingly different way. Nick and Tony Bicât’s piece contains realism, as well as romance – the accidents of folly as well as the glories of heroism. A rare new Musical Interpretation from Nick Bicât! A pounding Narrative from lyricist Tony Bicât!
There will be innovative dance from members of the Moving Visions Company (who contributed so memorably to our performance of Perpetua at Southwark Cathedral last year) and, as usual, a wonderful cast of young singers with Nick’s eclectic band of virtuoso instrumentalists.
Cantata Dramatica is all set to celebrate next year’s 1500th Anniversary of Arthur’s Last Battle at Camlann.
We are most grateful to Cumberland Lodge for the opportunity to present this exciting new Musical Drama to a wider audience. Tickets can be purchased from the online shop on our website.
Book now as we expect a sell-out!
